Epson Toyocom is a global leader for the manufacture of quartz products. On 2nd November, the company announced the development of the SG-150C, an SPXO with
the dimensions 2.0x1.6mm. Such a 2016 oscillator has a 36% smaller surface and a 43% smaller volume than the traditionally used 2520 models.
The new product has an ultra-compact housing developed on the basis of the NPO-structure (new platform oscillator) of the company. This technology allows the synthesis of reliable quartz design and production methods with very precise assembly techniques.
The SG-150C oscillator contains improved components enabling an accuracy of ±20 ppm over the whole temperature range -40 to 85°C. The product is particularly suitable for communication devices with a high component density, such as mobile phones, WLAN products etc.
