About four weeks ago, the "electronica 2006" (Munich, 14.17.11.) closed its gates. This year has shown once again that the trade fair can be very interesting especially for a distributor such as Spezial-Electronic. The SE trade fair team was able to activate or generate many client contacts and had several successful meetings with potential suppliers. As a result, Spezial-Electronic can start its LineCard 2007 with the following new entrants: CML (wireless & wireline communications), CASIO (TFT-LC displays), SANDISK (flash memories) and ENFORA (GSM/GPRS/GPS modules). We are pleased that this optimisation of our portfolio was successful and expect that SE will be able to meet the growing demands of its clients even better in the future. SE will continue to report on the products and services of its new suppliers in this newsletter as well as on its website (categories "Product news" and "Product of the week").


In addition to this, SE had many opportunities to present itself to the trade fair visitors as a very powerful distributor. The product range, the logistic services and the new design and manufacturing support were explained in detail in a number of meetings with potential and existing clients and suppliers. And there was no lack of partners for these meetings, as the SE sailing pool attracted particular attention, inviting visitors to linger at the SE trade fair stand.

With five remote-controlled model boats from the America's Cup, the sailing pool offered the perfect opportunity to sail close to the wind or against it, or even try some turns. Many training rounds were completed, but in the end 69 regattats with two or more participants took place. Three main prizes will be drawn among the winners of these regattas and handed out on 15 December in Bückeburg.
