Schaffner broadened the range of IEC inlet filters by the power cord family IL13 with an integrated locking system for the connector plug. For locking and unlocking, only a slight pressure on a plainly visible red locking knob is necessary. By the new locking system, the power cord can become effectively protected against unintentional pulling out of the device. No additional safety catches are required.

The integrated locking increases the functional reliability of all systems that require a stable network connection.  These are for example devices of the IT, medical, lab and communication technology. The power cord IL13 is especially useful if for example vibrations could interfere with the connection of cable and device.

The power cord with the patented IEC Lock System requires no alteration of existing IEC connectors. Is can be used with every inlet filter of Schaffner and IEC C14 connector according to IEC 60320 up to 10A.

As a standard feature, the cable can be delivered in black with a length of 2m. By the plainly visible red marking of the locking knob, IL13 can become easily distinguished from conventionally power cords. Various power line plugs for international usage are available. IL13 is RoHs and REACH compliant.
